Risk Analysis

I am a experienced user in various methods for risk analysis. Specialised towards quantitative methods and treatment of uncertainties. Skilled in statistics and the modelling of consequences from release of toxic substances, explosions and fire.

Fire Protection

My experience in creating performance-based fire safety engineering solutions for buildings is extensive. I am specialised towards risk-informed fire safety design and skilled in methods for optimising fire safety in terms of risk and costs. I am an experienced user of quantitative models (including CFD) for fire development and egress analysis.

Land Use Planning

I have experience in assessing risk to health and safety in land use planning issues and in environmental impacts assessments. My key qualifications involve risk management in planning for new establishments close to hazards like polluting industries, storage sites for hazardous substances, dangerous goods routes, pipelines, etc.

Research and Development

I have gained valuable experience in conducting research and development activities through my PhD-studies. My experience is related to both university and industry, mainly in the field of risk-informed fire safety design.
